I saw some at my lfs labeled that and they are Crenicichla compressiceps. I bought one

Hmmm....I wouldn't mind a pair or two of those....I just don't want to end up with a belly crawler. I had one a long time ago and I hated it.

why? I have one and he is so cute and has so much personality. Ask for a pic of the fish before you order.

Well I can get my lfs to order for me so if I don't want it they will just sell it at the store lol. But idk when I had my belly crawler it was fat, ate EVERYTHING, wouldn't eat prepared foods, and NEVER left his stupid little cave. I just couldn't stand that fish. I really don't want to get another one. It's either I get the compressiceps or a group of badis badis...I was also thinking about getting another xingu 1. I miss my old guys.
