I have a 12g nano with breeding Red Cherry Shrimp and am having a problem with green hair algae but don't want to use chemicals because of the shrimp.Someone told me that ottos would help, so I got 2 last week and they just eat the regular algae which is good but that is what the shrimp eat plus algae wafers,But neither of them will touch the hair algae and you can sit there and pretty much watch it grow its that fast, I pick through it daily but becoming a hassle because I have 3 other tank that need attention as well.Let me know if you have any suggestion,Pic of tank with out hair algae. Thanks
