I was looking at my mala last night and along with the blue streaks he has the back half of his body was green as well. I tried to get a pic but it did not show good. Mine is from Ecuador.

hehe cool thanks, now if you could just yank it out of the water hold it out in the sun and take a photo... just kidding. yea looks similar, freckles on opalescent green gill plate. she's perdey perdy. how big's it now?

It's a little over 12" now. The colors change all the time though, sometimes it looks green, other times tan with blue streaks, other times dark brown / grey. I think I have a chameleon wolf .
