Which one should I get or do you think I can get both
Green Phantom or a Gold Nugget
Tank is 112 gal with
1 Oscar
1 JD
1 Severum
5 SD
1 Stripped Raphael Catfish

Tank is full. No more fish.

I'd get the L200 in a bigger tank. My L200 is very aggressive and quick to eat. Good in my Oscar tank.

You can add a pleco in.. probably two.. i'd go green phantom.. just cuz its easier... Gold nugget are kinda hard to feed..

I have noticed many people have noted problems keeping their golden nuggets alive.

I have had mine over a month and its in very good health, its active and beautiful.

I have green phantoms too...

it would be hard to pick between the two.

I am just not sure of your tankmates.

You might have better luck with a thougher pleco... a common perhaps.

Which everone that you like and is bigger at the lfs so it doesn't look like food to the oscar. I've had both for over a year now and they are both beautiful plecos!

you can put both in, feed them some zuchini or they will starve. your other fish mostly likely won't eat (except the sev). a couple hiding spots--driftwood preferably--will make them more comfy.

Why would they starve without being fed zuchini? I rarely feed my pleco anything other than Wardley algae wafers, and it has been very healthy for over nine months now. If you are saying that the other fish would eat anything else before the plecos got to it, then this can be avoided. You just have to be creative, I am able to keep my pleco well fed in the same tank as an algae wafer-loving 17" pacu, so I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to find a way to keep SD's from their food. ;)
