I have green phantoms and all I can tell is the basics that work for me: Water very clean, tank they're comfortable in, non threatening tankmates, foods they like, and patience-- doesn't always, but it can take some time for them to get comfortable in a tank.

Video was too short to see much of your tank but mine is sand bottom, driftwood branches, couple of flat rocks against the back of the tank they can use to hide in, NLS or Omega One color pellets fed to the tank in general and Omega One Veggie Rounds occasionally dropped in tank for the plecos every couple of days. Mine love the veggie rounds and were noticeably more active shortly after I started using them. Mine also come out for the color pellets sometimes. I've kept them with a variety of fish, from kapampa fronts to geos, wild angels, rotkeil sevs, guianacara, etc.

I had a group of eight or so. I never saw them come out or eat. They had their tank for a while then with others and there was no difference. Unfortunately I lost the lot whole tank. The plecos couldn't have been any fatter so they where definitely eating well just on their time.

Wow, that is weird, all of my green and blue phantoms are always out and about..... and they eat pretty much everything. They seem to love the current and will "perch" on top of the driftwood where the current is strongest.

I don't know if this helps but I've had some l91's for a while now and I would barely see them. I recently rearranged my driftwood and added this long sort of flat piece that when laid down horizontally creates a 2-3" high "cave". Since then they are out and about a lot more. I think it makes them feel more comfortable having a space like that, they are always near that log. Just my 2 cents

With my green phantom pleco he comes out about five minutes after i add food and other than that hi is barely ever out
