It s about 1500 gallons. It now has 2 10 watt sterlizers on it cycling from two different pumps. Its been extremely hot here and the pond water is warm. Any other tricks to try and clean it up? Thanks for any info.

Is the pond in direct sun? if so, try and shade it for a good part of the day, also get some water hyacincth(sp?) and water lettuce, there good floating plants that block the sun from the water.

Yeah try getting some of those big garden umbrellas and put the pond in shade. Bunch of plants would help too, fast growing plants that grow like weeds.

U Need much more uv sterilizers. They are expensive but the only really effective way

I have 300 gallon pond two goldfish in it. I try to keep it clean and clear by doing water changes once the water levels low but green water is caused by microscopic algae blooms and gold fish may do the job. the pond I have used to have ten goldfish in it and when we moved them in the water got clear enough to see the bottom which is two and a half feet deep. I recomend 20 goldfish which you can get as feeders from a local fish store.

Cover it with garden umbrella like was said and plant some bushes and trees round it for next year. Adding 20 goldfish is the worst thing you can possibly do because they create the nutrients which algae thrives on.
