My Green severums gave me hundreds of little wrigglers. Pretty cool :headbang2 I have convicts that produce often. And I have a 125 gal with africans that give some babies every now and then. First time with sevs though. I wasn't even sure I had a male and female. They both have squiggles on the nose. One more prodominant though. These sevs are in my 240 gallon tank. Roomates are a clown knife, silver arowana, oscar, shovelnose catfish, silver dollars, 2 firemouths.

Would I kill these little wrigglers if I tried siphoning them out? They're only 2 days old. I am not sure what to do. Let nature take it's course? Siphon 1/2 out and put them in a 20 or 30 gallon tank and watch them grow? Will the parents take them out swimming about the tank when they are bigger? I really want some to survive to show off to anyone who will listen to me talk about my fish "AGAIN".

So, what are some suggestions?

I'de gladly give some away at some point, not really interested in shipping though.

Oh yeah. Is it enough to just crush some flake food for them?

how about siphoning out half and letting the others stay with the parent?
I got started using baby brine for my angels but hey i think i'll try the first bites stuff

I would siphon the fry out because they will wander off in the tank leaving their parents protection. yeah the parents will put them back in their mouth and bring them together but there are too many fry for them. its better just to take them all out. The fry will have no problem being sihoned, ive done it many times with great success.
