Thank you for all your suggestions in my previous thread, I have decided to go with Green Severums. I have found two locally and am picking them up tomorrow.

Now I am going to have to put them in my 37 gallon for a couple of days, and I would like to know if these guys are a danger to small fish? I have a few smaller fish in there and I don't want them to get eaten.
The Severums are 4.5-5".

The other fish in the tank include clown loaches that are just under 2", Denisoni barbs under 2", one zebra danio around 1.75". All the rest of the fish are 2.5-3".

The tank is overstocked, but the larger clown loaches, the rainbows, barbs and severums will all go into the 90 shortly. I just want to make sure the severums won't eat everyone before that happens. I heard they were peaceful but just want to make sure.

Here is a pic of them

Severums are not known for being mean to smaller fish. That being said, if the fish can fit into it's mouth it will swallow it. Looking at the fish to spoke of, the only one I would be concerned with is the danio. The severum probably won't be able to catch it though as danios are pretty quick.

Hmmm. The ones I'm most worried about are the Denisoni barbs. As expensive as they are I don't want to lose any.
