Are Green Severums prone to ick? I really want to get 2 but every pet store that has them they either have ick or it looks like thier slime coat is falling off of them =(. I luckily got my hands on 2 gold and was wondering if they could go in the same tank ( 75 gallon ) since they are a more peaceful cichlid. But i have seen on some sites that severums fight more amongst themselves then with other fish? is this true? I would just hate to bring the fish home and have them fight =/.

My green got ich, but she was super stressed in the tank at the FS. I got her mostly to save her from the flowerhorn that was in the tank with her. As far as aggression goes, my Rotkeil pummeled her at first, but now they seem to be OK.
I had a large green sev and introduced a slightly smaller turquoise sev. The green sev beat it up constantly so I had to seperate them. I actually re-homed my green sev because I like the turq better. I haven't had any issues with ich.
