Green spot algae help

I have a 55 gallon tank and I seem to have a problem with green spot algae the water test fine no problem there I have lights on it with plants I have but I don't leave them on long as I don't have many plants I have been told to get snails but I don't think they will last long with my tiger Oscars any advice

If you research this many who keep plant tanks say your phosphate level is to low. Or you need more co2 or maybe reduce photoperiod or intensity. But just doing weekly water changes will help a lot.
