i have a 50 gallon witha whisper 60 in it and i just put a H.O.T. Marineland Hang filter in there as well. is that to much Filtration for that tank or for that Fish? its brackish water and i am trying to set it up to Marine in the future.

Never too much filtration for a puffer! Marine filtration is totally different than FW/BW though. At that point you'll only need live rock/sand & a good protein skimmer. I think it's fantastic you're gonna house a single GSP in a 50g! Perfect size for 1 & you can add a few damselfish or a tomato clownfish, in a few years, when it's marine.
