Green spots on Florida Gars

I had seen a few threads here where people talked about coloring on their Gars. My little banditos that we keep in our bedroom have always had really nice green markings but my camera could never pics them up. My friend was over the other night and has a better cam and took these pics. These pics still don't quite show just how green cause of the lighting but you can still see.

Nice... I had one just like it. I just gave it back to the fish store because Im moving back to America.
 
Yep. My florida's use to have those, although they don't seem to any more. My spotted gar on the other hand, most of his spots are that color.
 
Alot of the Floridas have dark black, or dark green, even silverish spots. I tend to like the silver and black spots the best, but the green spots look cool too! Nice gars by the way! My personal favorites are the floridas with no spots at all. They usually come in gold, black, or white.
