Post ur water quality. Water change schedule? What are u feeding? Did u pretreat with meds? Did you quarantine? Is it being bullied? Are u adding salt to keep the water in a brackish salinity?

I have slowly been adding salt I try to change 10%-20% a week i feed them blood worms and snails. It is not getting bullied I did not add meds and the water was perfect. What meds do you think would benefit? Thanks for all the help

If you are looking for Internal Parasite meds, Prazi Pro i think is one of the goto meds for US members...

Just start with half dose first to make sure your fish dont react adversely to it...

Also, just as a heads up, 10-20% water change is really quite minimal, unless you are really under-feeding your puffers and water quality stays top notch...

Otherwise, normally a 50% or more water change is recommended, but again, if parameters are staying well below warning levels, then i guess the 10-20% could be enough for now...

Thanks for all the help he unfortunately he did die I am not sure if it was because of an internal parasite but I was feeding him snails so i am not sure if one was carrying a disease if you have way i can make sure my other one survives please let me know. Thanks again for all the help

Without knowing water parameters etc, its honestly a bit of a guessing game...

Could be IP’s, stress, being bullied or water quality among other possibilities... so if you can, see what your water quality is like (ammonia / nitrite / nitrate) coz puffers like all scaleless fish are extra sensitive to bad water quality and can be susceptible to other problems as water quality degrades...
