Green Spotted Puffer growth rate?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The truth is most people think it's a fresh water puffer, and gave them wrong diet then it will die a month or 2 months later. It's required brackish water and can even live in full saltwater setup. For that reason a long run fish keepers would refer Fahaka or MBU puffer that can stay and live happily in freshwater and growth quite large!

I've seen an individual that was still 3-4" after 8 years. Not mine though. I've heard they can get larger but I also have yet to see that.

They have very a labile growth rate from reading and gathering all ur info. It'll be almost full grown by the third year. Very slow after this. And as mentioned will need to be acclimated to a marine life when reaching full maturity.
