Hi I rescued three puffers from walmart two past away and I have one that is doing good I have had him for about a month and he is now in brackish water (they were in freshwater at first.)
So my questions...
How fast will he grow?
I have him eating brine shimp and ghost shimp should I give him anyhting different?
Is he a fish that will need to go in full salt at some point?
I have him with a few bumblebee gobys right now is he going to try to eat them at some point?
I have him in a thirty gal tank will it be large enough?
If I got a FW flounder or a dragon goby would either be ok for the tank he has?

30g is perfect for 1 GSP. All fish mentioned in your post will be eaten/nipped/bothered by GSPs. Read: GSPs
Check out the feeding articles there too.

Lots of folks keep their adult GSPs in marine tanks (even juvies, although I don't approve wholy of that), without adverse effects. Many have reported better coloration & spunkier energy, when brought at least into high-end BW.

Kept in FW, they grow slower, have compromized immune systems, disease & shorter lifespans.

Ok so I'm advancing in my aquarium enjoyment and have got a green spotted puffer he is currently in a 20g I intend to move him to something larger at some point but I have my own space limitations to worry about until then as for the puffer he is about an inch long i have some baby guppies in the tank for feeders and i have been giving him pillbugs from my backyard i read that you needed to give them crustations for their teeth i have heard of musscels and crayfish but i have a feeling this is some way off i usualy feed him about 6 to 8 pillbugs and he seems to be enjoying them with a big belly a few questions i have are how can i get him big strong and healthy how big can he get how long until he is full grown and i was shooting to upgrade to a 200 gallon tank would it be possible for him to have compatible tank mates at this size and can they be diferent species of puffer eg figure 8 ive heard of red bellied any other suggestions?

An Introduction to Green Spotted Puffers

righty oh, my lil guy is just about 3/4 to 1 inch and hes in fw for now till my tank is done, but the red claw crabs in the tank are almost full grown and hes fighting with them and has killed 2 already, so one is are the crabs going to keep his teeath worn and two is that an alright for for him?

ps thats not all hes eating im also feeding shrimps blood worms snails(very small) blood worms earth worms (live) and medley(freeze dried)

Eventually he'll eat all the crabs & yes, they are great for his teeth. His diet sounds good. Also try mussels, oysters & clams from your grocery store. Freeze, then thaw in tank water with added vitamins. I soak all my fish's foods in liquid vits.

i have noticed that the puffer really enjoys eating live plants when i feed him a bryn shrimp and blood worm mixture but clams you say what size of clams is he not too small to kill and eat them?
