recently ive added 2 chromides to my 30G puffer tank. only had a single GSP in the tank. he(i hope) had been in the tank with archers a few months before and he was fine with them even though they where 2"+, and he is still only a jeuvenile, probably 1"-1 1/2".

over the past few days he's become really reclusive. hiding behind a rock most of the time, being very lathargic, basically not himself. no greeting me as i walk in, or following me round the room. lately he hasnt even taunt the cat. he just doesnt seem to want to do anything.

he is in 1.012 SG being fed shelled prawn and snails to keep his teeth down. water params. are good. 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite. not sure on nitrate, tester kit has run out. the tank is over filtered. filter is rated to 1000lph. the chromides look fine too. so i guess its not the water.

is he just sulking like oscars do? the chromides are half his size, so he cant be scared, espescially since puffers generally have no fear at all.

ive been messing around with my new native marine tank alot lately though. its my first SW setup, so i wanna make sure it stays generally alive... so maybe he feels neglected?.... its just like having another girlfriend. or boyfriend... the puffer is a she now. still called oliver though :)

help me people!!!
