Would it be possible to keep these in the same tank? I do plan on upgrading as the GSP get bigger and seperate to avoid aggression... But I would like to have another fish in the same tank if its not going to attack it.

I have mostly heard and read that it's best to keep a gsp by itself. I have 2 small ones in a 38 gallon tank right now. I am fully prepared to separate them as they get older. I have heard that once in a blue moon you can keep them with others but its risky. Right now, my 2 puffers get along with one another, in the beginning it was rough when I had to introduce them. How big is your tank? Is it heavily decorated?

Here is a pic of the tank its a 55 Gallon, we are going to get some live plants tonight to try to acclimate them to brackish...eventually i would like a more natural look-driftwood, lots of plants, etc...but i need to wait a little while financially to do this...I know that 4 GSP's in one tank is pushing it, and they are growing super fast, we are currently looking for a bigger tank

the 3 large decorations came with the tank and provide a lot of hiding places for now

I heard that if you put a lot of plants in there, it breaks the line of sight. After I read tons and tons of articles of ppl not being able to keep gsp with other fish aside from their own species, I gave up lol. I decided to just keep the 2 in my 38g and leave it as that. Sorry, I can't give you any better advice.

Dont worry too much... I currently have green scat, but it usually goes away in a few days.

4 GSP wont last long in there even with out the scat. I would either get another 55 gallon tank and try to have a GSP pair in each or get 75-100 gallon for all four for life.

As I said earlier, my gsp are small, and barely an inch each. So I don't think a 38 gallon for 2 of them is too small or over crowding. And I also said above that once they get a bit bigger they will go into bigger tanks or separate tanks. :)

GSPs & scats may work together but both are messy fish & scats grow quite large. You're talking about a fairly large tank (minimum 55g fof 1 of each) & large filtration/water changes on it.
