Hi Guys, I've had this fish for nearly two years in with my cichlids and he/she is just becoming too big and aggressive especially when it comes to feeding time. I think it's a green sunny, but I wanted to get a positive ID on it. I am going to post in Marketplace as For Sale, but wanted to get a positive ID on it. I took the best pictures I could, but let me know if you need better ones for a positive ID.

Thanks in advance....Sarah

Agreed

I looked at the thread that said laws and that there was "nothing available" for wisconsin....which is where I am located....blah idk lol I was just hoping to rehome him or something.....he's super cute (sorry I'm a girl) though and I don't even really wanna get rid of him, but it's just not appropriate.....he is prolly like 7 inches...I don't want to do anything super illegal or anything......it probably is illegal to transport him with this VHS stuff though......I used to work for the DNR ;)

I mean the VHS threat.......but obviously he doesn't have VHS, but he technically came out of the Mississippi River which is maybe infected? I don't think they really know.....

Well, you kept him a tropical tank with firemouths and a heater. sunfish can take higher temps but they have a wicked fast metabolism meaning they eat a lot and grow really fast and have shorter life spans.
