I kept mine with a red devil and he held his own well .. I found their aggression level to be pretty even .

So far in my 30 gallon tank as I am watching these little 1 inch Green sunfish and redspotted and dollar sunfish and bluespotted i noticed that the bluespotted and the dollar sunfish are way more territorial and continue to pick on the green sunfish.....

Im gonna have to upgrade to something way bigger later on but Im sure from what I've heard at some point or another the green sunfish are suppose to grow a pair and become aggressive.

my green sunfish at (1" found him in a feeder tank lol) is really territorial toward my two golden shiners (who were also found in a feeder tank)

Very agressive in my experience. I have a 3 inch Green Sunfish in with a mix of CA/SA and African cichlids and he's dominating the tank...
