Ok when I first it my green sunfish I fed them a LOT of Rosie red minnows. I now know that they are really bad and high in thiamiase. My sunfish now have a minor case of hole in the head. I am now feeding them hikari and omega one pellets with occasional frozen bloodworms. How long will it take for them to get better? The hikari has vitamin B1 or thiamine in it which should help right? They are both 5 inches and are in a 55 gallon tank by themselves. Any tips to speed up the healing process

And I know I made a huge rookie mistake (these are my first predatory fish) so don't rub it in too bad I'm still learning. Before this I was mostly into nano and planted tanks

yeah u should be fine now just make sure that the water is pristine while they get better

also u can feed them a ton of things from out side like bugs and grubs and crickets and grasshoppers and what not this would be really good for them if u can make sure that the bugs are coming from chemical free areas.
