Green terror and Jack Dempsey sexing

I had a female GT way back and it had much less color than yours at that size , that’s why my guess is male. I’m not certain tho, try looking on YouTube or Google. Males get a nuchal hump so you could also watch for that as well
Thank you. And yes he has a lot of color. When I got him he was in a tank with about 8 other Gts and he was clearly the most colorful and dominate.
Sounds like male is a pretty safe guess then to me. He is definitely a nice looking one
Both are males. Female jack dempseys have blue on their gill plate. The green terror has a thicker orange band on the fins and tail, which means it is a male. The green color is more intense on males too.

They will both get more and more colorful as they mature, especially the Dempsey. They're gonna be nice fish!
