well my green terror, about 5in, and my jag around 4 1/2 to 5in, have been acting really strange. the green terror will swim around the jag and flare up like he wants to fight. then he just starts twitching. the jag puts up with it for a second then gives the GT a quick little nip. this happens over and over. the gt is the most aggresive fish in the tank and hes the most beat up. nobody fights, no lip locking. the gt is also looking like hes cleaning the rocks around him. it sounds like breading but im not sure. any ideas?

It seems there may be some hybrids in your future...are you sure of the sex of your fish?

Head shaking, rock cleaning and digging usually indicate breeding intentions. Keep us posted.

i took out the jag because my GT was getting too beat up. now that the jag is out it the GT just sits there. fins are all droopy, and just seems really bored. both fish are between 4 1/2 -5 in. should i leave them together and let the GT get beat up? when i say beat up its just a couple nips here and there.

i have the same combo with no problems i would put it back in as long as it dose not get to bad would be interesting to see if they breed i wonder what the hybrids would look like

im not so sure that that is a male gt bud. Sorry but usually females fins look, well a LOT like that. You might got the 2 mixed up...

holy cow if my GT was a female i would be shocked! could anybody tell me for sure? the pelvic fins are blue. dont male and female have different colored pelvic fins?
