I have a Green Terror about 3.5 in. long and i bought a small stripped Rapheal Catfish, the catfish has been hiding behind a rock since i put him in the cage, is he just gettin used to the enviroment or is he scared of the GREEN TERROR?!?
your stripped / raphael aka talking catfish is nacturnal... it will lay frozen on the bottom if it does'nt have some thing to hide in or under ( unless a fish pokes it) then this fish is also seldom seen bye the keeper . your GT should leave it along the spikes along the tail of the catfish should help, it depends on how teritorial your GT is ...RMR768 said:I have a Green Terror about 3.5 in. long and i bought a small stripped Rapheal Catfish, the catfish has been hiding behind a rock since i put him in the cage, is he just gettin used to the enviroment or is he scared of the GREEN TERROR?!?
that depend's on the size of the fish and size of the tank . and what you put together meaning type of fish's . another cichlid maybe a problem but catfish or arrowana maybe clownknife?? or more green terror's a little smaller then the one present ( big enough not to bre eatin!!!)RMR768 said:Will a Green Terror kill anything i put in the cage
some suggestions would be WORMS eath/ nite crawler's even meal if available ( walmart bait cooler ) flakes , feeder if raised bye yourself (gut load them first) frozen shrimp , brine (if fish is small) krill shrimp . when fish is large enough pinky mice!! beleve it or not it may except cooked chicken, steak, pork peice's uncooked hot dog's even but watch how much you feed use as a treat ( nitrate's may raise with the hot dog's if you feed reguarly and a sheine may develpe on the serfice of the water... hope this help's you a veriyed diet will result in a happer and healther fish ohh and did I say good looking fish too...RMR768 said:What are some good things to feed besides pellets?
IT will depend on the size / sex (males don't jive no matter what unless divided or placed in seperate tank's..SIZE this matters , a large fish is territoral and mite not tolerate another large/small fish ! it is best if u place them at the same time give or take a few min and same size relitve to one enother.RMR768 said:Can an Oscar and Green Terror of similar size live together or will they fight it out to the death?
