We brought our new 11" Oscar home today. Introduced him to the 90G tank which is home to a 7" GT, Jack Dempsey, and a couple of convicts. Because of the huge difference in size we just never imagined that the Oscar would be submissive. Within an hour the GT lived up to his reputation and beat the **** out of the Oscar :(. Needless to say the GT has been removed and is now terrorizing my 33G community tank full of tetras (we had nowhere else to put him)

Do you think there is any hope of reintroducing the GT back into the 90G?

Nope. You'll have to give him to me. :)
You might be able to reintroduce him to the 90 if you setup the tank again. Move things around and reintroduce all the fish.

Remove everything from the tank, fish included. Redo your deco, and introduce the oscar. Give him time to get a little comfortable, then introduce the rest. This might work, might not, but it's about the only option you have, outside of introducing a couple other fish with the oscar. But then you will have to eventually take them back out and find them another home.

edit...don't try this until the oscar is healed from this beating.

^^^ That's what I was going to say ^^^

But my 8" GT had to be removed from my community tanks... He just got to mean for my larger Dempsey, 13" Oscar and even my female Trimacs... Some of them just don't play well with others...

Most fish are submissive when first rehomed. The Oscar will stand a better chance once he's established himself in the tank. Give him at least a few days to a week before reintroducing the GT.

moved the tetras if you can....got a bucket?

and how about a picture of the GT? :)

I take it the GT is the dominant fish in the tank previous? Of course he saw the bigger Oscar as a threat and decided to fight him. Lets see some pics of the GT!
