Well hey everyone how are you all? I recently joined this great awesome website, looking for some green terrors actually. Because I have a male and was interested in breeding these great fish. Well as you can tell by the title I won't be needing a female green terror. The green terror which is probaly around 4 inches decided to breed with the blue acara which is about 2 inches. The terror used to always attack the acara and scare her off for a good month and didn't wnat anything to do with her.

Well when we moved I had to take all of the water out and put new in and well it must have sparked the terror's instincts to breed and well since the little acara was the only mate around well yeah, I now have fry lol.

I'm not totally sure when they were born but I think they laid the eggs on the 18 of july. Which would mean their a week old now. They still have their yolk sacs so their still in the wriggler stage. I'm hoping they become free swimming soon, I'm excited to see all of them actually swim around. I counted at least 90 yesterday and today they must have been alot hiding because it looks that there is probaly at least 110-120 if not more.

I've had Convicts before so I know how to feed them and what to feed them and such. The terrors and acaras must have alot more eggs than convicts because the convicts had at most maybe 40 if that.

I can't wait for them to get bigger, I know their like hybrids but i'm not selling them or anything. Plus I didn't know that the terror and acara are like the same kind of species or whatever, so didn't know they could breed. I wonder if I will have Blue terrors that will get huge and little green acars that are smaller. Well we will see soon enough.

Oh Yeah I have heard that green terrors don't usually stay in their relationship for a long time. I would hate for the big terror to kill the acara, I was thinking I could get some dither fish to preocuppy the terror, so it doesn't get bored and decide to kill my acara or even the fry. Is that a good idea and what kind of fish should I get Thanx.
