I have three GT's all about 3-4 inches. Two of them have paired off and never leave each others side. They have also been shaking their heads and bodies at each other and picking up gravel and spitting it back out. From what I have researched this is courting behavior but still no eggs. This has been going on for about two weeks now. I have two large flat rocks and a flowerpot in the tank for them to spawn in. Also I have tried using cooler water when doing water changes to try to induce spawning. Does anyone else have any experience breeding GT's that has some tips?

I have a breeding pair of GT, they started breeding at around 2.5 -3inches. I never had to do anything special, about once a month they breed.
If you would like to try and encourge them, turn you heater down 2-3 degs and 10-15 days later turn it up 5 degs. If they are ready to mate, that should do it. Plus it doesn't stress them out as much as cold water changes.
