I am Thinking about breeding Green Terrors has anyone done this. What is the best was to sex them. And what do i need to do to make them breed.

ok green terrors need at least a 55 for a small pair males reach maturity at around 4 inches and females are much smaller rounder rounded fins darker geen with brown and almost grey throughout the body the best water and settin g you can provide is a soil bottom with some amazon sword plants some type of floating plants to break the light up moderate structure driftwood is perfect stack the wood intricatly.... soft water is bed fill your canistor with a little peat moss and do water changes with ro water sold at most lfs feed lots of algea spirulina flake and feed live feeders twice a month followed by a heavy water change to spark a spawn also use a low light bulb such as a plant bulb dont use the high spektrums
I have a green terror male and female in a 56 gallon tank, and they breed like crazy. I'd have to admit that I've never actually been TRYING to breed them, but they are. The males are brightly colored at maturity and have a hump on the top of their head (noctal hump? <sp?>), the females are smaller and darker colored.. I'll post some pics.
these fish are great to breed but of course after the convicts.
it is a bit difficult to get two fish paired up.
try getting atleast 4-6 fish and let them pair up.
once they start breeding they breed like crazy.
