So ive had these guys for a while now, and the runts are starting to catch up in size. figured id share the pics since they speak more than words. enjoy

Nice! I didn't know they could be put in a community tank without killing each other! Did you get them while they're still small? Do you have to put them in one tank at the same time? I had one before and when I added another one, the first one just killed him.

truthfully, these guys get along great. the only time there is a scuffle is when there is breeding going on and the females are the aggressors. it usually happens during the summer when the tank temp rises a little. ive had up to 3 pairs breed in the tank at the same time.

i got them all as fry from a member on here. ive kept numerous cichlids and my experience is that if you introduce all the juveniles into a tank at the same time, they get along for the most part.
