The GT's daughter got a few weeks ago are barely 2.5". The dad is that future stunner I posted about previously. I was ehading to do the saturday w/c when I was looking through and checking things and I saw one of the GT's hunkered down ina corner and there was a huge pit dug out. Low and behold, there is a huge nest of white in the center/bottom of this and there is a lot of vibrating going on. Due to the location I can't see it really well. In hopes of getting some more stunners from this male, I want to try to pull them and put them in one of the 20g planteds and see if we can get any luck.
Few things:
A) When would be the best time to try to pull this little swarm out?
B) is doing a w/c on their main tank safe to do at this time?
Feh forget it, the momma's a good one on her first clutch it looks like. She got pissy with me shining a light in to figure out what the hell was in there, and made a higher sand wall, and moved the eggs deeper in the tank and under some wood and grass.
