Hi folks,

My green terrors bread and had around 150 Fry's. After 7 days i seperated the parents. But unfortunately the mother died. It's been 4 months now. I decided to move the father back into the fry tank. Please suggest.

Also what should be the ideal size of growth of the Fry's in this 4 months.

I regret moving the parents away, she got depressed, became weak and died.
But I am excited for them to breed again so I put the father back. Thinking this will make the fries grow faster and probably the father will again get a partner..

The best thing to do for fast growth is/are frequent water changes, even more than small multiple feedings per day.
The more you remove nitrate and growth inhibiting hormones the faster fry will grow,
If you do once a week 50% water changes they will grow slower than if you do twice per 40% water changes, etc etc.
I find 40% every other day water changes work best for me, and try to feed 5 smallish meals per day for fry .
I also allow algae to grow as extra grazing and to help use nitrate.

Welcome:)
Sorry about the loss of your girl.
duanes duanes Gave good solid advice to go by. Lots of water changes and frequent feedings.
Looking back at fry I grew out they were between 1”- 2” at 4 months old.
Though I’ve had some grow much slower when I’m not feeding multiple times a day.
