I know there have been allot of these lately so thank you for your help. I think it is male but not sure. They labeled it as royal GT but looks like a normal GT to me I don't know if there really is a difference or not. The camera didn't pick up the beautiful greens in the tank so I included 1 from while he was in the bag. His colors really are outstanding but you will have to take my word until I get a better camera

So if you could tell me if it is male or female and how you know that would be great. I am guessing male by fin length and his body is elongated.
Also I have a female texas cichlid and a female Firemouth will he (if it is a he) breed with either? Not trying to make a hybrid just wondering if I have to watch out for that.
