I have x2 green terrors still.very young but wanted to see if anyone could tell me the gender of them if possible, one of them is showing abit more colouration and orange fin colours than the other

Yes, still too small, although lack of green bearding has me leaning to female GT.. Can still get the bearding later on though.

They are pretty small yet and their color is looking washed out in the pictures.
One does look like it could be a male and the other female. But that is just guessing. Wait a month and it should be more obvious.

Heres a few new pictures if anyone can tell the genders now, sorry about the pictures not being completely clear it so hard to get a decent photo without them moving lol one is still alot more colourful than the other GT with a more distinct orange markings where as the other is quite colourless i wll try and get a better picture when i can

The more colourful GT has more of a green/blue scale tinge to it and at the moment slight signs of bluey speckles in the tail and fin whereas the other GT at this stange has the complete opposite not much bluey speckles very faint orange fin and tail marking ect

I think the top one in your most recent sets of pictures look as if it may be a male due to tail colouration

I have read the pattern in the dorsal fin is a clue (males tend to have it and females not), so that would mean you have a male and female. Saying that.. I have a known female and she looks very male inc the dorsal pattern.

Yep, still looking like one male and one female. The blueish glow in the dorsal fin of the colorless one in my experience has been a female trait.
They don’t have as bold of spangles, but can still have them. And they seem to have the blue glow while young.

For example, the top picture is a young female. She has some spangling in her dorsal, but it is smudged looking and has that glow to it. While the male in the bottom picture has defined spangles that shimmer when he swims.
