all 3 approx. 3 yrs. old, and they have always eaten hikari cichlid pelets and tubifex worms on a regular basis with no problems at all. just for about the past 10 days they simply do not even acknowledge the food! i mean always they have immediately gone straight for food and eaten all within a minute or two - - i mean they must be eating some because about one 3rd of food will be gone maybe like 2 hours later, but always half or more left and floating around for past 10 or so days. they still swim around somewhat but also not as active as normal.
also, i had an almost 4 yr. old beautiful bala that died due to my idiotic self cleaning the tank rocks too well and robbing most of their bacteria. these 3 had the fungus on their bodies too but survived and are all clear now, and its been about 20 days since then. also a 3 yr. old pleco in tank who seems as if it was not affected in the least bit and goes to its algae wafers immediately!
no color changes at all colors are beautiful but i would really like any help as to what to look for and in what order as i'm sure something is wrong.

I suspect you may be over-feeding...I have lots of these same fish and tend to only feed them every other day. Also, you may try switching to store-bought fish fillets or shrimp chopped up size appropriate...Many of mine prefer this over the pellets, but in any case I alternate between meats and pellets, just to give them some variety.
