subject sums it up, I beleive it to be internal parasites but he is still eating.

I have SOME jungle buddies parasite cure, 60 gal worth of treatment for a 120 gallon tank. Should I add half now and half tommorrow? Or wait till I go to the store and add it all tommorrow? Problem is I am leaving town tommorrow till Sunday. I don't really want to drop a bunch of meds and then leave.

I will also add salt and just turned my UV on.

U need to med the tank the day U leave using FULL streigth paraisite clear.. OR:::

REMOVE your carbon from the filter!! (we all know but I had to post it!)

when U get more tank buddies, DO get some PURE Metronidazole in the powder form.. this is what I used on my GT when they got the same prob. YES it is a internal paraiste..

also when U come back on the metron.. U can just add in carbon to the tank to remove the meds: parasite clear OR just do a 30% water change and add in the Metronidazole. Wont' hurt them.. Parasite clear has metroni in it..

DELUTE it before U add it to the tank with TANK water in a cup and pour it into the front of the tank..

With Metronidazole DOUBLE DOSE THE FIRST TWO TIMES, THEN normal dose the rest.. U need to get it working fast..

U will need more meds with such a big tank.. READ the cylinder and see how many gal it is for.

they wil get better in a weeks time.

I did Met. every other day with the meds with a 20% water change before the next dose.. VERY IMPORTANT TO DO W/CHANGES!!

U really need a smaller tank as U wil use a LOT in a 100 gal.

Heres an update. I dosed with parasite clear and went out of town. I did have my UV on, when I dosed on thursday with PURE Metronidazole I noticed it said to turn UV sterilizers off. So maybe the parasite clear did nothing.

Can I double dose with PURE Metronidazole tommorrow, a tube is enough for my tank 1.5 times at 2 measures per ten gallons? how fast should it work? Poo is still clear.
