I hope i put this in the right section if not sorry.

I have a 10" GT that is fat as anything and eating very well but this morning i noticed that he had some white feces trailing behind him.Is this anything i should worry about like a intestinal parasite and if so what should i do.

All the water parameters are ok .I do 40% water changes every week and the water temp is a constant 26 Degrees Celsius.

At the moment his staple food is Hikari Gold and Bio Gold with lots of other hi protein dried food in between to spice up the died. He doesn't get any live food.

Thanks in Advance

It is excreting the excess mucous membrane from the intestines. As long as it is eating well, it should be nothing to be concerned about. This is not really an accurate way of telling your fish infested with internal parasites unless associated with sudden loss of appetite and listlessness.

no loss of apatite he will eat my hand if i leave it in the tank for to long.but thanks for the reply.

i will just keep an eye on him and give my wife more reason to think im crazy coz she doesn't understand why a grown man stands in front of the tank and wait for a fish to poo.
