My dominant male in my group of 6 has been acting weird for the past two days. He keeps his fins pushed down the entire time, swims with his whole body instead of mainly just the pectorals (swimming kind of how a snake moves), looks skinnier, aimlessly swims around the tank and does that "itching" thing on the gravel and driftwood.
I was thinking of quarantining him and treating him with some left over triple sulfa. From my understanding this stuff is pretty broad and won't kill my fish if he's not actually sick.

I would not medicate this fish....Check all water parameters. Make sure nitrates are low. I would try to zero out your nitrate, by doing a 50% water change, wait a day and do a 25% and so on until nitrates are non existent. This is shot in the dark but your fish may have a mycobacterium infection(typically fish with this infection don't flash but all other symptoms are there). Add a powerhead low in the tank, above substrate and/or airstones. Try to eliminate any low flow areas in tank, where this bacteria grows. Also you need to improve your fish's immune system,by improving diet. Add some vegetable matter(my GTs love Nori, peas, etc). May sure your offering quality pellet(like Spectrum, Hikari,). I would recommend a spirulina flake but also some live foods(earth worms, compost worms, insects,) but stay away from feeder fish. Best of luck.

What symptoms are there for Myco in this fish??? I don't see any.

Typically itching/scratching is from a parasite.

Looks parasitic, try using Metro or API General cure. If the fish is eating soak some freeze dried blood worms in one package (10 gallon dose) in just enough water to desolve the powder. Soak for 10 mins and dump it into the tank. Treat the tank as per package instructions.
