Green Terror in a 2ft

I've been planning to get GTs for awhile now and the tank should be up by the end of the weekend.

I saw a really nice one about 2" in a LFS today, I'd like to get it asap.

What do people think of keeping it in a 2ft tank with a red-tailed black shark about the same size until the bigger tank is cycled?

the RTBS may harrass the small GT. young GT's are known for being quite shy and not as tough as when they are older. they get bullied very easily when young. keep an eye on it if you try it. if its the same size then it shouldnt be a problem.
as long as the 2ft is only for a month or 2 max and water changes are done religously then i would have though it would be ok. as long as you actually have a larger tank cycling for the GT.
i wouldnt add any other tank mates though, that way it gives either fish enough room to get away from each other.

Thanks. It would only be the 2 in there and I have a 4x2x2 waiting, cleaning it tonight, will fill it in a day or two once I've had people help me move it.
