So I've had my female GT since november, and she stopped growing around january I guess, I just kinda passed it off as the fish growing in spurts, but she never really picked back up. she's only about 3-3.5". Then came stringy poo, I figured well maybe it's just she is stopped up and isnt getting enough vegetable matter. so I tried increasing that and it helped some, but she still wasn't gaining weight. Now today, her fins are clamped and she's spending a lot of time imobile on the bottom. There is no visual difference in her other than the clamped fins. I tested my water and params are 0 ammo 0 nitrite 20-25nitrate, PH 6.8. She appears to be somewhat in pain moving and i just put in some spirinula brine shrimp while typing this and she showed absolutely no interest in it. I've had her for quite some time but I want to do the right thing. Should I put her down if i can't get her to eat? She looks like she's lost a bit of weight.

I was thinking it might be Capillaria based off of lupin's sticky in this forum, but it says nothing about loss of appetite or clamped fins. I just wanna do the right thing for the fish. Thanks for any input.

not really sure what she could have but i have treated all of my fish with jungle labs parasite clear tank buddies... treats a wide range of parasites and i have a tigrinus that they say are really touchy to meds and i have treated 3 of them now at full dose with no problems... if you are pretty sure it's a parasite and not sure what one it is... this stuff trests a very wide range and might help... hope this helps... goodluck
