Green Terror local prices?

I have been looking at Green Terrors, I was only able to find one place locally that carried them and they are $13 for small (1.5"). Comparing that to other cichlid in the area that is pretty high. Jack D, Convicts, firemouths, red terror and even oscars are less that $6 at most stores.

Once they get bigger some of them are higher priced. Just wondering if that is normal or just high around here.

I paid 7 for mine, he was about that size too. Seems high.

red terrors are expensive in my area like 40$ for one at a lfs. Everything else is less than 10$. My LFS had two 5-6" GT for 15$ each.. Try looking for local classifieds if you want one for much less.

Maybe prices are based locally or based on the breeders the store gets them from.

I check local craigslist and other places every day looking for deals but so afar no luck. I also watch the classifieds here just in case.

Yeah, GT's go for about 6-10 bucks for that size around me, although the bigger they get the more they go up.

My lfs has them for 4.95 but I'm in jersey

I got mine around that size for $6. Another lfs has them for $12 and the other for $15. It varies

my LFSs have them for $6, $11 and $15 depending on size.....all the way uo to "Show quality males" for $80

I just got a 6.5" male for $50
