Just got my first GT last week who sadly isn't getting along with his/her tankmate - a stunning wee feisty oscar. GT is approx 2" and Oscar is approx 1.5". Both still really little. I've noticed that the oscar dives in towards the GT first while GT kinda does his own thing and swims around freely.. until of course the oscar decides to pick on him and he will fight back resulting in some ripped tail fins in the oscar. So to prevent any further damage the oscar is currently separated in a breeding container.
Q1: What gender do you think this little GT is? Male or female?
Q2: While they are both still really young, are there any chances of integrating them into the tank and get them to live in harmony together?
