This 10"/25 cm Green Terror male is a matchmaker for other couples. His presence in this 180G tank, has, I believe resulted in two firm pair bonds being established, one of Caquetaia kraussi, and the other Hoplarchus psittacus. His challenging these pairs is certainly a major contributing factor towards these pairs pulling together. These pairs don't have the time or incentive to squabble between themselves because they're too busy dealing with the GT. He has no mate and so has devoted his life to harassing other happy couples. Jealousy? Maybe. I need to find him a mate. He has been trying to court a female Geophagus abalios but she'll have none of it. You gotta love it!

Haha. That's a pretty funny story.

My GT is a huge pain in the arse also. He's the smallest CA/SA in my tank, and chooses to engage any fish that doesn't turn away from him. He loses every fight but never backs down!

My green terrors (gold saums) are beyond passive... the two of them get chased around the stumps together. They run from everything, big and small...

Same here, every green terror I've owned even at 8-10 inches would run from convicts. They were aggressive(love to chase) but are far from tough.

My 8" GT that i gave to my mate would wreck anything that went into his tank, after 10 mins of introducing him into my tank with Severums he had beat the crap out of my 3 larger ones, by 24 hours the Sevs were beat down to a corner in the tank, then he killed my Firemouth which was about 6", i gave him to my mate whos big tank had large parrots, severums, JD, convict, Yellow Labs, Jewels, Firemouths etc he now dominates that tank, he killed one of his sevs and all the rest of fish cower at the bottom of his tank, the Parrots and Sevs are equally as big as him to, he is a real glass banger and will bite you as soon as you put your hand in the tank!

Wish i never got rid of them but my wife made me because she loves the Severums :(
