This 10"/25 cm Green Terror male is a matchmaker for other couples. His presence in this 180G tank, has, I believe resulted in two firm pair bonds being established, one of Caquetaia kraussi, and the other Hoplarchus psittacus. His challenging these pairs is certainly a major contributing factor towards these pairs pulling together. These pairs don't have the time or incentive to squabble between themselves because they're too busy dealing with the GT. He has no mate and so has devoted his life to harassing other happy couples. Jealousy? Maybe. I need to find him a mate. He has been trying to court a female Geophagus abalios but she'll have none of it.
You gotta love it!
