Green terror has been rubbing on this same spot on top of his head where it looks to be missing a scale, any way I can treat this so he can heal his scale27D220F2-E2D4-4C80-B100-0D4D7E58AC35.jpeg

I would start with a water change keep the water super clean. A little salt and see where it goes. What other fish are you keeping him with? Looks a bit stressed and potentially bullied.

Missing scales will heal by time, but what NM says: Add some salt (200 gram / 100 liter) and keep the water clean.

I can't point out why or what it is but the body shape of this GT looks a bit different to me, can be the picture as well.

He’s one of the biggest in the tank, and if you think he’s bullied because of the nipped tail fin, that’s been there since I got him from the lfs. He’s in a 75 gallon with a smaller JD Firemouth and a Convict Hybrid about the same size. The GT only gets chased occasionally by the fire mouth. How much salt should I add how often in my 75 gallon. Do I need to raise the temp because with my current heater i’m unable to do that. Here’s another picture of him I don’t think he’s 343EF8FF-25CB-45F4-9EBD-52431EAFC74A.jpegshaped weird think it’s just that one pic

That picture looks way better yes :-)

I use 200 grams of salt on each 100 liter, thats about 550 grams on 75 gallon i think. Then for each waterchange of (example) 100 liters i do another 200 grams of salt. I use seasalt, without any additions.

And the salt is for the possibility that ich is the problem?

I always use salt in all of my cichlid tanks, helps keeping fish strong i learnt.
This isn’t itch i think. You will clearly see white dots when it’s itch. But bump up temperature (30 degrees Celsius =86F) and add the same salt does the work for me with semi adult or adult fish. With younger fish i use “esha exit” as medicine in case of itch

This is why. It’s in Dutch (probably completely impossible to understand for someone who isn’t from the Netherlands ;-)) but hopefully Google Translate will do the job.
