Hey all. I was going to get a red devil but think I may be going twith a green terror now. The one i will be getting is only around 3 inches at the moment. I just think they look alot better.

My question is do green terrors have a personality to match the reputation of a RD? I want a fun fish.

Also they will be going into a 75g tank with 3 pacu, an electric blue, upside down cat, and red zebra cichlid. They are all very small so I dont think there will be any fighting problems yet. You think this will be ok?

The GT will be fine in a 75 gallon tank by himself for life. You may want to rethink the rest of your stocklist now and make some adjustments.

Pacu get huge. And i havent had the best of luck having tankmates with EBJD'S. and the zebra can take care of himself. depends on size of everybody. I would be more worried about the blue especially since he's prolly the most expensive fish in your tank. but the Gt's i've ever had are all personable and eat right out of my hand. every time i walk by they are begging for attention:)

I will only keep the fish in that tank while they are small. Of course will not keep in there forever. They will be ok for now right?

I have a green terror and havent had any problems with him at all. He may give something a chase now and then, but nothing serious or damaging.

On the other hand I have a friend who has one and all it wants to do is fight with his oscar. So I guess it depends on the individual personality and temperment of the GT

3 pacu's in a 75g? yikes....

GT and RD from young? Go for it!

I have 2 GT's, 2 yellow labs, and 2 hybrids (i believe) all in a 75g tank. The GT's are a bit aggressive but only towards each other. The bigger one does chase the labs and hybrids once in a while but being smaller they swim quicker and through smaller spaces
