Hey guys, i figure this would be the best place to post this issue.

The last two days my Green Terror has not been moving around as much and mostly been sitting down at the bottom of the tank. i have never really seen him do this for any period of time, and the other fish i have are doing fine.

He looks fine and seems to be breathing well, i do weekly water changes and havent seen anything like this happen before.

any advice is appreciated

thanks

Not gonna try and giva diagnosis with such vague information but most of the time you think something looks wrong its because something is. Have you added anything new recently? A lot of other users would probably ask for your exact water paramaters before posting....

what is his poo like? GTs can be prone to diseases, my male and female both had stringy poo though i don't think it was parasites as i treated their food and they still had it, male jumped couple weeks ago so i only have the female now but her poo is still stringy though she acts normal and has been with my other fish for months but none of them have this, so could be something bacterial? also what are his tankmates, IME GTs aren't that aggressive so a more aggressive tank mate could be stressing him out, n what size is the tank, in my big tank my female is always active but when i separated them into my small 20g quarantine when i was thinking about treating for parasites she was totally spooked and whenever i would come up to the tank she would go to the bottom and stay absolutely still, try viewing the tank from where he cant see you and see if he starts swimming around or not

I agree with the poster above for the most part. I have two green terrors ones in my living room in a 75 by himself. Now this guy is no joke he he chases us around the room getting madder then hell. If you go up to the glass he acts like you another fish and he ready to go at it. If you open the lid he goes to his cave. Water changes when my hands in the tank no agression. My second terror is same age as the first but smaller he's in a 30 long by himself. Now any time I go upstairs he's just setting in his cave at the bottom Now if I sneak up to were he can't feel my vibrations from walking cause his tank sets on the floor or if I just set still for awhile he'll come back out and swim around.

So to sum up my long story trying watching him when he doesn't know your there.
