Hello MFK I this is my first post on this forum and I really need help! I recently bought a 55gallon aquarium to house a single male green terror. The green terror is about 8 inches long and I can tell he still has some growing to do but he wont eat at all and I noticed his belly was a decently skinny, he isn't showing any symtoms of sunken belly I just cant get him to eat worms, pellets, or anything I even tried flakes. Im hoping hell start eating soon because he is a stunning one plz help!

How long has the tank been set up? How was it cycled?
What is the decor? Is it bare? Are there places for the GT to hide? What about lights? What is the photo-period?
What is the temp?
Is your water hard or soft?
What are its normal parameters?
pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate?
How often do you do water changes? and clean the gunk from the filter?
Any one or all these could be relevant.

Probably intestinal parasites.

He isn't showing signs of internal parasites hes acts perfectly he swims back and forth but just ignores all food offered.
Really? If he hasn't pood or his poo looks white or stringy it's a sign of intestinal parasite overload

My terror went a couple months without eating while I treated for parasites, so I wouldn't stress out by him not eating just yet. Keep offering small amounts of different foods and figure out a treatment plan. Monitor him and just keep the tank nice and clean and see how he responds. Couple sign to look for are Is he active? Erratic? Passing waste (and is it white and stringy)? You said it was skinny but would you say the stomach is sunken? It could also just be stress of moving or any of the questions asked by duanes.

definitely worried about parasites but can you post the water parameters?
