over there boi
Mt GT has not been eating in the last few days. Usually it is a little pig. The worse problem however is that he has developed the white stringy poo. What is the best med to treat this with. Also his stomach is slightly sunken and his fins are usually clamped. Advice please.

I am treating with pimafix for now. I fed some bloodworms and he is eating them hopefully this should be enough. Anybody else have suggestions for internal parasite meds.

i just asked my lfs and they gave me some pills

My GT had the same problem and never ate much again. In fact, all the GT's my LFS gets come in with the same parasite and die slowly. I won't try GT's again until something good happens with that. And the worm he had was incurable. I tried every available med twice and nothing improved. He didn't die, though. He just never grew. At all. For a whole year. I hope you have better luck. GT's just depress me now.

my recommendation was Jungle Parasite tabs . . . but if you can't get that, API General Cure is very similar

they both have the same main active ingredients: metronidazole and praziquantel

There is no such a thing as incurable parasites

primafix will do nothing, dont waist your $$. buy metro and mix with the blood worms. this way he will eat the worms soked with the med
