I had a 5.5" male GT with great colors, he died due to my mistake. Is there anywhere I can find another GT about the same size online. I've checked most of the stores where I live in Nor Cal, can't find any that come close to the male I had
Helpful suggestions greatly appreciated.

I live in central Oregon and our petsmart store has some awesome looking Juvies. They are already showing great colors at 2-3". Im sure petsmart most likely uses the same supplier for the whole west coast region.

Thank you for all the sentiments. I'm still looking, I'm heading to Sacramento this weekend to check out several stores. Hopefully I'll find one.

I'm passing along some information on how I accidentally killed my GT. I'm just about positive I changed too much water at one time and it put him in to shock. The day after the water change he had a white spot on his gill plate, by that evening it spread to one side of his body and he was swimming upside down. I tried to nurse him back but he was too far gone

Now I change my water twice per week @ a 25% water change. BTW none of the other fish in the tank were harmed or effected, so I'm not exactly sure but I'm taking responsibility.
