Ok, since the first day I got my 3-4 inch green terror it's breeding tube has always been out. It's also very fat, either with eggs, or parasites.
But I'm thinking isn't it a little too young to be thinking about sex? Everything else is normal, eating 2-3 pellets 3 times a day, and some flakes now and then. Just a little worried cause there was a green sunfish in the tank that I got it from that was packed with parasites.
If this is parasites, how would I treat?

I bought a Green Terror wild caught came to me with flukes - I used Mardel Cooper-safe Copper Sulfite and within a month no more flukes. Also treated with non-iodized salts at the sametime..........1 tablespoon per 5 gal.

Jungle Parasite Clear seems to get good reviews. I've got some, never had to use it though. Table salt is perfectly safe, although I'm not sure it does much for internal parasites.

Parasite Clear works wonders for me as well. I had an EBJD that stopped eating and hid by the heater all day long. Took him out, treated w/ PC, and 6 days later he was back to himself.

That makes me wonder because when I thought I had parasites I used parasite clear for my two juvy EBJD and one died from it and the other still acts very "out of it".
I'm scared to use it again

Did you water change after each tablet?

do you have pics? at 3-4" female green terrors are mature enough to breed. so that may be the case. i had a female same size buddied up with a female convict and layed eggs like 3 times, even though i didnt have a male for her. so thats my guess. water changes and a lil salt shouldnt hurt anything. but if shes not sick be careful what kinds of meds you give her. they could make things worse. but not always.
