Green Terror Quality

How can you tell the quality of a green terror. I saw a baby 3 incher at an LFS and he had very bright colors, thick orange band on his tail and a nice shimmer to his body, also a tiny hump, there was 2 juvenile GT's in that tank, the other one was always hiding (maybe a female?).

All sounds like good signs to me. I'd be looking for something that you described. @3" a rivulatus should be showing those signs if a quality fish. Not always true, some can be stressed by conditions provided by lfs but I wouldn't take the risk on one looking washed out.

The one hiding could be either sex and dominated by the male.
