Hi there
I have a Male Green Terror and about 2.5 - 3 inches. Currently living in a 15 gallon by himself. Feed Hikari Arowana pellets. Eats like 6 a day.
Anyway knows how long till it gets like 6 - 7 inches?
Also how much feeding for this little fella at this age?
Looks he can eat more but afraid to overfeed.
Thx.

Well once you upgrade his tank he might shoot right up. Or he could take another year to get that big. Green terrors are really hit or miss. They all grow at such different rates. For the most part though they will be 6-8" at like two years of age.

Thx for the info.
Wow ~2 years. That's a long wait for me.

I bought a wild gold saum at 3.5".....one year later it was only 6"

It became too aggressive....so I traded it for another small 3.5" Wild Male! :D

I don't think there is any rule of thumb, but it's a great thing that your GT is hardy. I think the main factors are hardiness and water quality, more water changes=quicker growth. I would feed your GT as much as he can eat in about a minute to a minute and a half, about 3 times a day (or until his stomach is disteneded). Being in a 15g, I would change the water every other day (he needs a much larger tank). I would also allow 1 day of fasting a week so he can purge himself well.....
